Junior Zarate (born December 24, 1978 in Degollado, Mexico) is a midfielder. He last played for the American USL Second Division side Wilmington Hammerheads.
His family moved to Tennessee when he was seventeen and he spent several years in local recreational leagues. In 2001, he attended a trial with the Wilmington Hammerheads. He signed with the Hammerheads in 2001 and played through the 2007 season.
